Speakers
Georges Michelson-Dupont
In the early 1960s, Georges’ father introduced him to the French version of The Urantia Book, which at the time was called La Cosmogonie d’Urantia in 3 volumes, now known as The Urantia Book. He became a passionate reader and student only in the late 1970s. Realizing the importance of spreading the teachings of the revelation for the evolution of our planet, he and his wife decided to personally and socially invest in organizing seminars, meetings, and conferences. They have hosted a study group in their home continuously since the 1980s.
Georges has been a Trustee of the Urantia Foundation since 1995, International Vice-President in charge of translations, and head of the UBIS school.
Georges and his wife Marlène are retired from industry and live in Recloses near Paris, France. They have two grown daughters and a granddaughter.
Sophie Malicot
Sophie lives in the South of France, where she experienced the certainty of God a little before her 6th birthday. Since then, her life has been woven around her faith. She has made various commitments, seeking through them how to live her spiritual life in harmony with her material existence.
As a speech therapist by profession, the language difficulties of the people she accompanies required her to learn how to translate abstract concepts into vivid and creative expressions.
Craftsmanship and art have always interested her, ranging from dance, music, weaving, calligraphy, and now writing.
